The client builds their own equipment for their manufacturing facilities. There are a lot of promotional opportunities to move up or to go into other areas of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise Automation Technicians and Programmers, assign work, provide mentorship, and ensure proper training and skill development
• Oversee control system design, PLC/HMI programming, panel builds, machine wiring, and system commissioning while ensuring compliance with safety and electrical codes
• Independently manage multiple automation projects, troubleshoot complex electrical and hydraulic issues, and ensure seamless system integration
• Collaborate with customers on project scope, provide technical support and training, and travel for site visits, retrofits, and commissioning
• Enforce safety standards, approve designs, oversee part procurement, conduct quality audits, and handle administrative tasks like scheduling and performance reviews

Requirements:

• 8 or more years of hands-on experience in automation programming is required to be considered
• 1 or more years of leadership experience in an automation or controls-related role is required
• Associate’s degree in electromechanical or automation engineering technology (or related field) is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Pay is at $125000/yr for a highly qualified candidate
• Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder
