ClearSpan Fabric Structures International in South Windsor CT is looking for an experienced Credit & Contract Analyst. In this position, the successful candidate will promote sales through equipment financing & leasing programs.
This position requires both positive and effective communication phone sales skills. Therefore, a polished and courteous phone presence and presentation is required. As a ClearSpan Contract & Credit Specialist, you will be required to directly interact with Customers, Sales Department, and Accounting Departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Negotiate Contract and Sales Agreement terms.
- Liaison between ClearSpan and the customer and/or distributor.
- Collect all documentation related to customer credit applications, analyze creditworthiness, and establish payment terms.
- Provide customer service directly to sales department, customers, distributors, and third parties.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of Contracts & related information.
- Specialized reporting of various Contracts, as well as a clear understanding of all necessary documentation.
- Process documents when executed copies are received and send counter-signed copies back to customers.
- Create documents for products received per master contract or Sales Agreement as needed.
- File for State Contractor Licenses and complete Vendor Qualification information.
- Complete and file all documentation required by customer to facilitate prompt payment.
- Reconcile invoices.
- Monitor current accounts, identify past due balances, and follow the collection process.
- Provide problem resolution in support of Order Administration.
- Process documents for payment requests to the accounting and credit departments.
- File paperwork, promptly return phone calls, and trouble shoot problems.
- Update internal logs regularly to keep track of needed funds.
- Complete UCC filings when applicable.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with 2-3 years Commercial Contract & Credit experience preferred.
Language Skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of accounting software.
- Experience using EPICOR, a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Offices Suites.
