Here's what you will do....

Complete complex design and development of mechanical equipment and systems.
Select and coordinate technical solutions to meet project requirements.
Provide technical management of projects.
Lead the building and testing of prototypes according to general instructions and established standards.
Assist with quoting projects, writing specifications, and creating schedules and technical reports.
Use independent judgement in problem solving following established guidelines.
Develop specifications, schedules, technical reports and budgets.

Requirements :

Minimum Requirements :

2 year Associate degree and 9 years of mechanical engineering or design experience OR 4 year degree in engineering and 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering or design.

Minimum of 7 years’ experience in mechanical design creating 3D models and drawings for customized automation systems.

Demonstrated proficiency in 3D modeling software.

Proficiency in Outlook / Microsoft Office products.

Hold valid driver’s license with ability to drive to customer sites.

Preferred Experiences :

Material handling, including conveyors, rotary indexing tables, and robots

Solidworks and / or DraftSite

Industrial automation environment

Design & manufacturing of equipment that is interfaced with robots

Safety Devices

Pneumatics
