Responsibilities
- Collecting, preserving, and analyzing evidence from crime scenes or other relevant locations.
- Preparing and maintaining documentation related to investigations.
- Providing expert testimony in court.
- Working with law enforcement, legal professionals, and other relevant parties.
- Staying informed about advancements and best practices in forensic science.
- Ensuring all investigative activities are conducted in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
- Consulting with clients to provide advice on forensic science matters.
Qualifications
- Proven work experience in a forensic engineering or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess professional engineering licensure
- Detailed understanding of forensic engineering principles and techniques.
- Ability to provide expert testimony in court.
- High level of integrity and adherence to professional and ethical standards.
- Degree in a variety of engineering sciences, or a related field.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field from an accredited University; PhD or Master's degree is preferred.
- 5 years of experience preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- PE license or ability to obtain PE license
