Painter

Engle Construction is a General Contractor licensed in over 20 states and has been in business since 1939. We are currently seeking experienced PAINTERS for commercial projects. This will be a full-time permanent position, TRAVEL and out of town stay is REQUIRED. We do pay for travel expenses, lodging and provide a per diem allowance while on the job site. Benefits package is also available.

Compensation is based upon experience

Summary

As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint and finishes to various surfaces in construction settings, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Reporting to the Construction Supervisor, you will utilize your core skills in industrial and construction painting, along with mechanical knowledge and manufacturing techniques. Your premium forklift skills will aid in materials handling, while relevant skills such as precision measuring and basic math will enhance your efficiency. Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean surfaces for industrial and construction painting, ensuring proper adhesion and finish quality.
• Operate and maintain painting equipment, including spray guns and hand tools, while adhering to safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to plan and execute painting projects efficiently.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge and precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate application and finish.
• Handle materials and operate forklifts as needed to transport supplies and equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
