Job Summary
Experienced Medical Billing Specialist for Radiation Oncology. Strong knowledge of Physician Billing including ICD-10, HCPCS/CPT procedure codes and modifiers (when applicable.) Solid knowledge of working holds, denials and following-up on insurance claims. Responsible for providing training and support to Hospital's designee who will be responsible for the Radiation Oncology specialty billing on a go-forward basis.

- Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.** - Strong communication, follow up and interpersonal skills required.
- Knowledge of Anatomy/Physiology, Medical Terminology and insurance skills
- Experience with EPIC and Athena Health Collector software desirable.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook.
- Education Requirements:** - High School Diploma or GED or minimum of three or more years of Physician Billing experience required.
- Associate's Degree preferred
- License/Certification/Registry:** - Certified Medical Billing Certificate preferred
