What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver - PT Nights position at English Rose?
Awake overnight Caregiver roles now available for experienced - PCA, HHA, RA or CNA.
Cares & Cleaning keep you going on this overnight shift!
Our staff to resident ratio is 1: 6 on nights in our homes so you can focus on providing exceptional care and ensuring our homes are clean and meals ready for the next day.
Shift times: 10 pm - 6 am - every other weekend required.
Wage: $17 to 24 hr (based on caregiving experience, education and certifications)

You'll never work a shift being short staffed, or with agency caregivers that don't even know your residents.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience with elderly (ADLs, med passing, etc.)
- Passion for assisting and caring for elderly residents.
- 18 yrs old and able to pass the MDH background check & tuberculosis screening
- Lift a minimum of 50 pounds and be on your feet for 7-8 hours
- Commitment to ensuring the holistic well-being of residents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional and positive attitude
- Valid Drivers License (preferred)
- Dementia Care experience a plus (but not required as we will train)
Primary Responsibilities of our Resident Assistants / Caregivers:
- Maintain compassionate and authentic relationships with Residents & Clients
- Provide direct care to Residents & Clients with dementia and complex medical conditions, assisting them with bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting
- Support Residents & Clients by providing housekeeping and laundry services, preparing and serving meals and distributing medication
