Engraving Production Assistant

Engraving Colorado is a growing company with locations in Colorado and Hawaii. We are seeking one motivated and detail oriented individual to join our team as an Engraving Production Assistant. As an Engraving Production Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our engraving operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately processed and completed in a timely matter. This position requires effective communication skills, basic math proficiency, ability to take measurements with a ruler, and a demonstrated sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and take orders for engraved plaques, awards, and gifts on POS system
• Utilize engraving equipment and tools to accurately engrave various materials according to customer specifications
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth workflow and meet production deadlines
• Perform quality checks to ensure the accuracy and quality of engravings
• Maintain an organized inventory of materials and supplies necessary for engraving production
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that may arise during the engraving process.
• Follow established safety guidelines and maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Assist with projects within the company for marketing and growth

Requirements

• Available to work Monday-Saturday 9am - 5pm
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, team members, and supervisors
• Basic math skills and ability to accurately take measurements using a ruler or other measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate engraving and order fulfillment
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate a high level of responsibility
• Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment. Prior experience in engraving is a plus but not a requirement; training will be provided.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Manuel dexterity and hand eye coordination for operating engraving equipment and tools
• Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
