Salary : $100,000 - $130,000 (commensurate with experience)

Overview :

Our client, a well-established general contractor with a reputation for excellence in the construction industry, is seeking a skilled Estimator or Senior Estimator to join their team in Columbus, Ohio . This role requires expertise in self-perform work conceptual bidding , and full project scope estimating. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience and a preference is given to individuals with field experience that enhances their understanding of constructability and project execution.

Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates with ties to the region.

Responsibilities :

As an Estimator / Senior Estimator , you will :

• Lead Full Project Scope Estimation : Review proposal requirements, conduct risk analyses, and determine scopes of work and estimate components.
• Develop Accurate Estimates : Prepare conceptual, self-perform, hard bid, and GMP estimates for diverse and complex projects.
• Perform Detailed Analyses : Generate quantity takeoffs and man-hour-based estimates using historical data, subcontractor input, and productivity metrics.
• Collaborate with Preconstruction Teams : Provide constructability reviews, schedule input, value engineering suggestions, and support for target value delivery.
• Self-Perform Leadership : Guide manpower and resource planning for self-perform trades during preconstruction.
