Data Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data architectures, including data warehouses, data lakes, and cloud-based solutions.
• Develop data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) to support business intelligence, analytics, and reporting needs.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and governance best practices.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources and optimize database performance.
• Design and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines for efficient data processing.
• Evaluate and implement new data technologies, tools, and frameworks.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and software developers to ensure data solutions align with business goals.
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries, documentation, and metadata management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8 years of experience in data architecture, database design, and data management.
• Strong expertise in SQL, NoSQL, and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.).
• Knowledge of ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, Apache NiFi, etc.).
• Experience in data governance, security, and compliance.
• Familiarity with machine learning and AI-driven data solutions is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.

Preferred Certifications (Optional):

• AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
• Google Professional Data Engineer
