Position Description:
Director of Quality in the aerospace industry provides guidance and advice on methods, procedures, standardization, and requirements associated with AS9100 across various Enjet locations.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop internal measures to ensure compliance with QMS
- Provides support to functional leadership by gathering and analyzing Quality Information
- Works with process experts and production personnel to fully understand and provide guidance on appropriate and complete corrective actions to assure repeat deviations do not occur
- Conducts root cause analyses and ensures root cause, corrective action, preventative action, and product impact are thoroughly addressed in investigations
- Conducts external audits with Third Party Agencies
- Update, maintain, and publish Audit Calendar
- Makes recommendations for corrective action necessary to ensure conformity with quality specifications
- Responsible to oversee the gage and calibration system and third-party calibration services
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership, collaboration and relationship building skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills and interface effectively throughout all levels of the company
- Vast knowledge of AS9100
- Required travel up to 30%
