YOUR ROLE
- Lead the day-to-day operation of Quality processes (including PD Quality, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control) at the Henekl Bay Point site.
- Managing all quality functions, working with cross-departmental leadership to deliver high quality products on schedule.
- Establish and maintain a quality system to ensure the facilities, equipment, personnel, methods, processes, and procedures conform to both internal and regulatory standards.
- Promote quality culture and behavior throughout the organization.
- Maintains product quality by enforcing quality assurance policies and procedures to international standards (i.e. AS9100, NADCAP, etc.) requirements.
- Prepare product and process quality KPI’s by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Develop quality assurance and control staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training and coaching employees.
- Achieves financial objectives by preparing the quality assurance budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
YOUR SKILLS
- Degree in chemistry, engineering or related technical discipline is required.. MBA or Master of Science degree desired.
- 5 years of demonstrated strong supervisory and leadership skills in a quality manufacturing environment..
- 10 years of quality work experience. Quality certification (Six Sigma, Shainin journeyman, etc.), CQE, CMQ/OE, and/or CSSBB desired. Thorough understanding of quality standards AS9100/9102, ISO/TS16949, NADCAP, SAE, SQA, APQP, metrology, SPC, and MSA desired.
- Experience in the aerospace/automotive/electronics industry. Demonstrated work experience in the quality function of a specialty chemical material supplier desired.
- Demonstrated success in leading teams of problem solvers with a balance of reactive and proactive quality efforts.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, peers, and upper management.
- Good working knowledge of probability and statistical models.
- Ability to travel as needed, including international
