Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support in the clients home setting. The ideal candidate will assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while adhering to all health and safety regulations. Client has a TBI and need medication reminders, complete light house keeping. This role requires a strong commitment to resident rights and the ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities. Duties
- Provide companion care.
- Medication reminders.
- Monitor client for safety and comfort.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines and individual preferences.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, ensuring hygiene standards are met.
- Supervise residents in daily activities, promoting independence and dignity.
- Document care provided and report any changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
- Uphold HIPAA regulations by maintaining confidentiality of resident information.
- Provide direct support in home community care settings as needed.
- Participate in training programs, including CPR certification, to enhance skills and knowledge related to resident care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a home care setting or similar environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of resident rights and the ability to advocate for individuals with disabilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Caregiver or equivalent training is highly desirable.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
- A commitment to providing compassionate care while respecting the dignity of all residents.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
