Responsibilities
If you have Automotive, Commercial Truck repair or insurance carrier experience, have you ever thought about how the technology you use goes into creating a proper estimate? We are looking for someone who is interested in demonstrating their experience on the back-end of the claims process and expanding on their computer skills. This means working with a dedicated team to build our estimating software using math calculations, building relationships and assigning codes to parts and labor information.
The Auto Body Tech Estimator / Estimatics Content Specialist is responsible for :
- Automotive OEM Technical Data Modeler depicts data in terms of the entities and relationships described in the data.
- Editing and rewriting information found in OE, technical user manuals, data sheets and specification books
- Ensures data normalization.
- Structures and organizes data from the Parts and Labor group so it can be consumed by electronic products.
- Build relationships between components that have commonality and deduct or add appropriate labor times for calculation per labor notes.
- Builds tables for automated procedures such as component refinish, component overhaul and options.
- QA's new services or updated services prior to the data extract.
