Adoption Specialist
At Ennis Center, we are seeking an Adoption Specialist to provide adoption services to all assigned cases in compliance with requirements of applicable local, state, and federal regulatory and/or other accrediting agencies.
Responsibilities
- Provides adoption services to all assigned cases, ensuring compliance with requirements of applicable local, state, and federal regulatory and/or other accrediting agencies.
- Recruits adoptive parents, registers youth on MARE, and completes all required home studies, assessments, and other applicable reports and filings.
- Communicates with DHS to ensure proper paperwork is received to proceed with the adoption process.
- Ensures accurate, professional, and timely completion of all Agency-required reports, paperwork, and filings.
- Attends, conducts, or participates in all case conferences, hearings, assessments, home visits, etc. as required.
- Represents the agency at community meetings; interfaces with the community and other social service agencies as required.
- Immediately apprises the appropriate Agency personnel of any potential emergency situation.
- May be required to facilitate training for adoptive families and foster families.

- Actively participates in training, staff meetings, and Agency activities as required.
