Major Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist in leading, developing, and managing PC team
- Analyze all inventory functions including inventory availability, inventory accuracy, shipping, and receiving completion.
- Review and ensure policies and procedures relating to shipping/receiving, storage, equipment, and supplies are being followed and adhered to.
- Review flow plan and layout to ensure ease of material flow
- Manage material buildout plan for phased-out materials based on change notifications
- Serve as customer and supplier contact: available 24/7 for plant and customer support along with Materials Manager.
- Communicate daily with customer on concerns about delivery, process interruptions, ECI’s, and vehicle trials
- Serve as Materials Dept. Point of Contact for Mounting Trials
- Complete Materials Score Card and Attend Weekly Materials calls as a local Materials representative.
- Verify aged assemblies in the gantry and ASRS
- Manage Wheel Weight inventory based on min/max
- Audit process based on monthly LPA schedule
- Serve as backup to the Materials Manager
- Other duties as assigned.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Use of MRP systems as primary management tool for all inventory.
- Strong research, problem-solving and follow-through skills required.
- Proficiency with MS Office products required, primarily Excel and Powerpoint.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of any proprietary business-related information to which entrusted.
- Focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to lift 70 lbs.
