Job Summary: The IT Manager supervises team members within the IT Department. The IT Manager oversees enterprise-level systems and IT operational activities including network infrastructure and the core system of the Credit Union. As the lead technologist, the IT Manager directs and coaches IT personnel in the areas of applicable business applications, software, hardware, and infrastructure. The IT Manager provides directions and support for IT solutions that enhance mission-critical business operations. This role is tasked with timely and accurate operations of all information technology systems. The position also helps to identify, coordinate, and install new systems and delivery channels to provide unmatched service to members and employees.
Essential Functions:
- Lead the IT team in the pursuit of enhancing end-user experience and improving operational efficiency.
- Make routine employment decisions, review performance, and make salary recommendations.
- Assign work, provide training, and guidance, and advise team members as necessary.
- Assist team members in the creation of a training plan.
- Develop department processes, diagrams, and procedures.
- Responsible for ensuring that the systems and services are current, reliable, tuned, and accessible in accordance with service level agreements, establish governance, and assist business users in leveraging the technology.
- Supervise IT helpdesk, ensure high quality service to end users.
- Research technology solutions to meet Credit Union needs.
- Assist all database administrators in the administration, maintenance, and installation of all credit union databases.
- Supervise team members that maintain all data communication equipment to ensure an online status for employees and service to our members.
- Ensure thorough testing of new/modified information systems before release to staff and members.
- Supervise IT team members in troubleshooting problems pertaining to all information systems.
- Participate in audits and oversee remediation of issues found.
Job Qualifications, Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
- College Degree (BS or BA in a relevant field) or equivalent work experience.
- Three to five years of experience managing an IT Department, preferably in a credit union environment.
- Experience working in a regulated environment and responding to inquiries and findings of regulators and auditors.
- Demonstrated ability for attention to detail and superior time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service to internal customers.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to interact tactfully and positively with others.

Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
