Geologist

EnSafe is accepting applications for a Geologist with a minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental consulting to join our Dallas office located in Farmers Branch, TX.

EnSafe has adeptly and concurrently executed hundreds of cleanups at military installations, Superfund sites, Airports, and other Commercial, Federal, and State sites.

What We Are Looking For:

We are seeking a motivated Geologist to join our dynamic team and contribute to a variety of environmental consulting projects. The ideal candidate will embrace challenges, thrive in a collaborative environment, and actively seek mentorship from Project Managers.

At EnSafe, our projects span a broad spectrum, including regulatory compliance tasks and site remedial investigations for both traditional contaminants and emerging concerns such as PFAS. What you will be doing: 

•    Provide client and project management, coordination, and implementation of comprehensive project work associated with environmental investigations and remediation oversight.

•    Lead technical teams working with our Project Managers in problem-solving, preparing plans and specifications, and meeting with clients and subcontractors.

•    Execute Work Plans and/or Sampling and Analysis Plans and coordinate investigation activities (soil, groundwater, indoor air, soil gas, and stormwater sampling).

•    Provide environmental compliance support to senior regulatory specialists, including data collection for permitting and/or registration, data analysis, regulatory compliance evaluation, and assessment. 

•    Provide oversight to teams during field activities and regulatory reporting.

What you’ll need: 

•    B.S. degree (M.S degree preferred) in geology, hydrogeology, environmental science or related field. 

•    Current G.I.T or P.G. license. 

•    Minimum 5 years of experience in field and technical project work. 

•    Ability to obtain and maintain background clearance.

•    Experience with DOD projects and/or large federal projects preferred.

•    HAZWOPER training and certification.

•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

•    Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

•    Regional travel is likely around 10%.
