We are seeking a motivated Pipeline Engineer to support corrosion and integrity projects within the oil and gas industry. This role involves monitoring, assessing, and mitigating pipeline corrosion and ensuring asset integrity through inspections, risk assessments, and maintenance planning. The ideal candidate will perform data analysis, oversee cathodic protection systems, assist with material selection, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement integrity management strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing project objectives, writing specifications, performing calculations, reviewing and selecting equipment, and supporting the creation of drawings.
- Actively participate in QA/QC to ensure consistency within the department.
- Work with Project teams to ensure project deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
- Clearly convey design philosophies, expectations, and timeline.
- Coordinate regulatory, permitting, survey, and third party construction efforts.
- Specify all engineered equipment and specialty items.
- Perform calculations to evaluate proposed designs.
- Evaluate design’s overall effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety.
- Communicate design changes with key project team members.
- Understand and apply standard engineering principles.
- Treat all company information and customer information confidentially.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- ABET accredited Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- EIT certification or working towards.
- Familiar with Oil & Gas industry practices and standards.
- High level of organizational skills.
- Advanced user of Microsoft office suites.
Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
