The account executive reports to the CEO and is directly responsible for generating initial and renewal subscription sales for Quartet. You have responsibility for account planning, sales execution, and deal closing. You will participate in virtual and in-person marketing activities such as webinars and conferences.
The responsibilities...
- Negotiate and close annual subscription contracts for the Quartet patent search platform.
- Identify and qualify leads, communicate the product features and benefits to the appropriate customer prospects.
- Communicate technical and business benefits of multi-faceted AI-enabled product platform.
- Ensure product adoption, customer satisfaction, and retention.
- Monitor Quartet usage by customer and contact and identify follow-on subscription opportunities (for more usage and more subscrptions within the organization.
- Ensure accurate customer records and interactions, using HubSpot.
- Share ongoing customer and prospect feedback with product development team and participate in product roadmap meetings.
- Support marketing efforts including conference and webinar planning, participation, and follow-up communication.
Required skills and qualifications
- 2 or more years of experience in IP Platform sales, preferably with patent search platforms.
- Experience with Hubspot is preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Ability to travel for customer meetings and conference attendance as needed (Expected to be less than 20% travel).
Salary : $75,000 - $100,000
