The role…
Patent Analysts are responsible for performing technical research and preparing reports to support legal and business decisions related to patentability, validity or clearance of a patent, invention disclosure, technology landscape or portfolio management. In this role, you will:
- Perform desk-based research using patent search systems and non-patent literature databases to identify relevant information
- Devise search strategies to effectively utilize each system and ensure appropriate scope of the search
- Quickly read and synthesize information from various sources to determine relevance to the search
- Curate and analyze documents located during the search to identify and describe the relevance of each document to the search requirements
- Prepare report detailing search strategy and results according to established guidelines
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications and/or Electrical Communications - Wireless systems, 5g 4g, LTE, CDMA, cellular and telecommunications, television, radio, RFID, GPS, electrical interface devices, wireless communications, optical communications, digital signal processing, smart homes and smart devices, Bluetooth, 802.11.
- 3 years' experience in patent search, patent examination, or patent prosecution
- Knowledge of non-patent literature sources in your relevant technical field
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills
Salary : $65,000 - $90,000
