Ensemble Schools is looking for an experienced JAZZ, TAP, ACRO AND CONDITIONING instructor to inspire and nurture the next generation of students at D'Valda & Sirico Dance and Music Centre. Our growing studio in Fairfield, CT, focuses on providing quality instruction in a safe environment. We're seeking instructors who can deliver engaging, in-person lessons and contribute to the vibrant dance community. Responsibilities:
- Instructing students in dance techniques across various skill levels (Ages 5-18).
- Strong dance background in various dance styles required for this position.
- Developing and implementing lesson plans tailored to individual and group needs.
- Choreographing routines for our annual performances.
- Fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and dedicated to the art of teaching dance.
- Provide reliable transportation and pass a routine background check.
- Exhibit traits of dependability, professionalism, enthusiasm, punctuality, and friendliness.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Post-secondary dance training experience such as a certificate or degree in dance performance, education, or related fields (not mandatory but a plus).
