Job Overview
Offer confidential administrative support for the Student Success Center (SSC) full-time staff in various roles, including clerical support, reception, and other duties / projects as assigned.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide professional customer service at all times, especially while interacting with students, faculty, staff, administration, and the community.
- Ensure students feel welcomed at the SSC. Your smile, attitude, attentiveness, and ability to relay accurate information can positively influence all you meet.
- Welcome and direct students, faculty, staff, and administration.
- Clerical support including phone, email, Advisor scheduling, Microsoft Office use, Zoom, data entry, filing, and copy / print needs.
- Consistently follow correct processes while giving and receiving feedback.
- Maintain student record management and FERPA confidentiality.
- Communicate clearly in both verbal and written form.
- Observe and respond to visible needs in various areas of the department.
- Attend mandatory staff meetings when scheduled
Qualifications
SSC employees can expect to work 15-19 hours per week depending on the needs of the SSC and may vary from semester to semester.
