JOB SUMMARY:
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for performing a range of tasks related to warehouse operations and freight movement, including supply chain and vendor management.
Logistics Coordinator employees must:
Possess a valid TWIC.
- Steel toe boots/shoes.
- are not using cellular phones while on duty.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Collect quotes and award loads to move product
Track vendor performance
Serve as the department coordinator for document retention and management.
Coordinate product movement throughout the life cycle of each shipment while working closely with internal departments and external vendors and customers.
Monitor shipments from order entry through delivery to ensure on-time performance. Quickly and reliably resolve logistics service issues, escalating to management when necessary.
Work with the regulatory and quality departments to ensure compliance with all pertinent regulatory bodies including FDA and OSHA.
Resolve supply, process, and equipment concerns, questions, and/or problems.
Comply with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Associate degree or 2 to 5 years of experience providing senior-level coordination and administrative support.
- Working knowledge of accounting principles and issues.
- Travel coordination and Travel & Expenditure processing
- Must have a strong command of Microsoft Office programs, including advanced level of Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage multiple projects to completion.
- High level of flexibility and ability to function in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Highly self-motivated and able to work independently
- Successfully balance multiple priorities.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills.

- Good understanding of warehouse operations.
- Intermediate skill level in Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with export requirements and documents.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- This job requires physical abilities such as standing and walking long distances, the Ability to regularly stand, walk long distances, and talk and hear.
- Ability to frequently use hands and arms to grab, handle feel, and reach.
- Ability to occasionally sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, or crawl.
- Ability to occasionally climb ladders or stairs.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds, with assistance or lifting machinery as necessary.
- Must wear Seaonus required safety PPE, Safety vest, hard hat, gloves, etc.
- Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Working indoors and outdoors.
- Excessive heat or cold, and extreme weather conditions, excessive humidity or dampness or chilling.
- Slippery and uneven walking surfaces.
- Work around machinery with moving parts.
1st Shift 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday-Friday
OT, Weekends and Holidays as needed
