Job Title: EMS Testing Specialist
Location: Onsite in Chicago, IL, with potential travel to Philadelphia, PA
Job Overview: We are seeking experienced EMS Testing Specialists to join our team. This role involves onsite work primarily in Chicago, with potential needs to travel to Philadelphia. The project is focused on replacing EMS hardware and upgrading the EMS software to AspenTech Monarch version 14. The position requires a thorough understanding of EMS systems and direct experience in testing these systems.
Responsibilities:
· Lead the planning and execution of test phases including FAAST-1, FAAST-2, Performance, DR/Failover, UAT, and Operational Readiness.
· Analyze test cases provided by the EMS vendor and develop additional test scenarios and plans.
· Obtain approval for all test plans and cases from Exelon.
· Coordinate closely with the System Integrator (SI) Supplier to understand the solution blueprint and architecture.
· Validate testing environments across regional data centers.
· Track defect remediation and perform necessary retesting in coordination with the EMS upgrade SI supplier.
· Provide leadership within the Supplier team for all testing activities.
· Support post-Go Live HyperCare for a standard period of 90 days.
Qualifications:
· Required: Prior experience in EMS system testing.
· Preferred: Experience with AspenTech or OSI systems.
· Strong analytical skills and experience in planning, execution, and documentation of tests.
· Proven ability to work effectively in a team and with high-level project stakeholders.
· Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Additional Information: This role may require occasional travel to Philadelphia depending on project needs. Applicants should be prepared for onsite work and have flexibility regarding travel.
