What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist - Floater (Westchester/Bronx) position at ENT And Allergy Associates?
ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP and Quality Medical Management Services USA, LLC is seeking a self-motivated, people-friendly Full Time Medical Receptionist for our Westchester County and Bronx office locations. This position would require the Receptionist Floater to cover our clinical offices in: White Plains, New Rochelle, Purchase, Yonkers, Bronx, Tarrytown, West Side, and Bayside offices . Additional coverage may be required.
Job Duties
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Assisting incoming patients
- Verifying insurance coverage
- Entering patient demographics into the computer
- Pulling and filing medical charts
- Assisting the office manager and physicians as needed. Most importantly, you will be the face of our practice for the many patients who need our help
Job Requirements
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- NextGen a plus.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience in the medical field and knowledge of medical insurance a plus
The scheduled days and hours are Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 5:00pm (schedule can vary dependent on organizational need):
Saturdays 1-2 per month (8:00am - 12:00pm)
The Westchester/Bronx Medical Receptionist Floater position is comprised of the following office locations:
New Rochelle
Purchase
White Plains
Yonkers
Tarrytown
Bronx
West Side
Bayside
Please note: any new offices opened in Westchester or Bronx will become part of the required offices.
In addition, we do rely on our floaters to assist with training new hires. The floaters are also required to assist with clinical staff training for new offices. These offices may be outside of your normal territory. On occasion, you may also be required to assist with covering offices outside of your normal coverage area.

This positions is eligible for additional benefits including, $ 5,000 car allowance, 75.00 month cell phone reimbursement as well as reimbursement for mileage, parking and tolls.
