Entablature Design Build
Administrative Assistant
Do you consider yourself a person of high integrity?
Do you believe in doing things right when no one is looking?
When asked if you live life to the fullest, would you answer with a resounding, “Absolutely!”
If so, we want to meet you.
We’re a tight-knit highly-qualified team of home-building professionals who believe that when we’re on, we’re on - and we work diligently to do the right thing, and do the thing right. We pride ourselves on our knowledge of New Orleans’ architecture and our ability to blend our work into the historic character of the City and surrounding neighborhoods.
We also believe that when we’re off, we’re off - and our clients understand that, too! We like to enjoy our families, hobbies, or a drink altogether when the work day is over.
We’re an award-winning general contractor holding both residential and commercial licenses focused on new construction, additions, and renovation. Chris Kornman, a third-generation homebuilder born and raised in New Orleans, is our fearless leader. Though we do perform some new construction, the bulk of our work is historic renovations, which provides the excitement of never building the same thing twice, the challenge of using creative problem-solving skills, and the reward of preserving New Orleans' history and architecture.
We’re looking for a highly organized Administrative Assistant to manage date in our cloud based project management system. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Creating and issuing purchase order.
- Meticulous documentation of finish selections and other construction details.
- Assist with material acquisitions and inventory process.
- Attend job site meetings and generate action report.
- Distribute plans and specifications
While a high school diploma (or equivalent) is required, higher education is not. We value experience over credentials, and greatly admire those who are self-taught. Additional qualities that are highly desirable to us include:
- Highly organized
- Very detail oriented
- Problem solving skills
- Mathematical skills
- Good communication skills.
- High degree of comfort and ability using technology.
We look forward to hearing from you!
