Description
Entech's Energy Production & Infrastructure division is seeking a Business Development Representative to drive growth across multiple facets of the energy production market. This candidate will understand third-party engineering consultant roles and services within the energy production market, including natural gas, renewable natural gas (RNG), Hydrogen, CO2 sequestration, and geothermal markets.
Candidate will be responsible for developing, detailing, and executing sales strategy in accordance with Company objectives, while identifying and presenting market shifts and associated strategy to leadership. This position will be responsible for sales growth that aligns with the company. This role requires a proactive sales strategist capable of generating new business, building and nurturing client relationships, and traveling extensively within the Mid-Atlantic (mostly), with occasional visits to the Northeast, Midwest, and South regions.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy to expand our client base in the Energy Production Market, specifically natural gas, RNG, Hydrogen, CO2 sequestration, and geothermal markets.
- Conduct thorough research to identify potential clients and understand their needs and challenges.
- Generate, maintain, and present specific BD strategies for target energy markets, services, and clients.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Represent EP&I internally and coordinate department BD plan with overall Company marketing initiatives.
- Present BD and sales progress management, identifying short-, medium-, and long-term growth strategy.
- Track progress, communications, objectives, results, and activities with Entech's client relationship management (CRM) database.
- Lead internal meetings using CRM to coordinate internal business development stakeholders (PM's, Technical Managers, Marketing, etc.).
- Schedule and attend meetings with prospective clients to identify project opportunities and present our design services and solution capabilities.
- Participate in and represent Entech at industry trade shows, conferences, and within professional organizations
- Report on planned and executed sales activities to appropriate levels of management.
- Generate and maintain sales goals and associated schedules, while acquiring approval from management.
- Assisting with the development of scopes of work, proposal writing, fee estimates, and qualification packages
- Periodically attend active project meetings to stay familiar with services and deliverables, especially in areas of existing technical knowledge
