As an Engineering Designer at Entech Engineering (Entech), you will support the design and development of engineering projects across various disciplines. This entry-level role offers the opportunity to contribute across all project stages, from initial design to final, client-ready deliverables, while working closely with experienced engineers and project managers. Role and Responsibilities

Perform analysis to determine design methods and determine the selection of material and equipment.

Perform analysis to determine design efficiencies and model solutions.

Responsible for utilizing computer software tools to support and optimize the design engineering process for products, components, or structures.

Develop detailed designs and drawings using CAD software.

Support project planning, specifications, cost estimates, and regulatory submissions.

Interpret technical guidance, regulations, and standards for project work.

Prepare technical reports, plans, and documentation.

Participate in all technical stages of projects to produce client-ready deliverables.

Monitor and control technical aspects of projects to achieve milestones.

Maintain effective communication with the project team and coordinate with the Project Manager on deliverables.

Interact with regulatory organizations, providing strategic analysis and maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Conduct site visits to gather data and assess project conditions.

Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and changes related to environmental compliance.

Supporting other business units with expertise as necessary to promote the company's overall success.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proficiency in CAD software for developing detailed designs and drawings.

Preferred skills

Experience or coursework in water/wastewater engineering and environmental compliance.

Previous internship or co-op experience in a consulting engineering environment.

Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or progress toward EIT certification.
Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, or related field.
Working Environment
