About the Role

You will support the process of identifying and proposing work as well as managing the flow of data and information for projects as they start through to completion. you will help VDC grow their marketing and Business Development capabilities as well as their project management data pipeline. you will report directly to the department vice president and be his sounding board for strategic business decisions.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Proposal Management:
- Evaluate request for proposals (RFP), request for qualification (RFQ), and other scope documents to ensure alignment with company capabilities.
- Draft, format, and finalize project proposals, incorporating technical language as needed.
- Develop and maintain proposal templates for efficiency and consistency.
- Provide feedback to the AI/ML team in developing automated tools.
- Pipeline Management:
- Maintain and update the department’s proposal-project pipeline database and CRM system.
- Assist the department VP in tracking and managing the business pipeline.
- Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Support client follow-ups and communications to strengthen relationships and secure leads.
- Coordinate with internal teams to align proposals with technical expertise and project requirements.
- Marketing and Outreach:
- Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to create compelling outreach materials.
- Contribute to campaigns, social media engagement, and client events.
- Budgeting and Estimation:
- Assist in fee estimation for proposals to ensure competitiveness and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture, Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or AEC related program.
- 1 to 2 experience in proposals, marketing, business development, and/or administration. And/or 1 to 2 years’ experience in AEC, BIM/VDC experience preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with digital AEC tools and processes - e.g. BIM, CAD, laser scanning, data, asset management.
- Proficiency with standard office software (Google Workspace preferred).
- Knowledge of PowerBI, Airtable, or similar analytics tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with customer resource planning (CRM) like Salesforce and Unanet.
- Understanding of marketing campaigns and client outreach strategies.
- Strong English writing and editing skills.
