Appointment Coordinator
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Appointment Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing Customer appointments, ensuring a seamless scheduling process, and providing exceptional Customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and have experience in a Professional office setting.
Job Duties:
- Answers telephone, screens calls, takes messages and provides information.
- Work with patients/callers/physicians in a polite and helpful manner to book appointments, enter demographic data, insurance information into the EMR system.
- Schedule and confirm Customer appointments efficiently while managing the calendar for multiple representatives. Reschedule appointments as needed and communicate to staff.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving scheduling conflicts.
- Collaborate with representatives to optimize appointment availability and Customer flow.
- Maintain a professional demeanor with patients, peers, supervisors and physicians especially when receiving feedback or directions.
- Stay abreast with all State and Federal laws ie: HIPAA, ADA, OSHA and FLSA.
Qualifications
- HS Diploma or gen. equiv.
- 2-5 years of previous appointment scheduler experience
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on Customer service.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated to complete tasks independently.
- Good computer skills and knowledgeable with EMR systems
- Excellent attendance and reliable transportation.

Expected hours: 40 per week
