We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support the management of large-scale Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) construction projects. This role involves collaborating with project managers, on-site teams, and subcontractors to ensure projects are executed efficiently and successfully.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing all aspects of MEP construction projects, including safety, quality, budget, and schedule compliance.
- Support the development and tracking of project schedules and budgets.
- Help oversee subcontractor coordination and monitor on-site activities to ensure productivity and resource efficiency.
- Collaborate with clients, design teams, and contractors to support project execution and resolve issues.
- Assist with job cost management, subcontract writing, and change order processing.
- Participate in contractor meetings and support the development of project documentation.
- Contribute to the successful closeout of projects, including financial reconciliation and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- 3 years of experience in construction project management, with familiarity in MEP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Primavera, AutoCAD, and Viewpoint software.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the automotive sector is a plus.
