Entech is hiring an Solutions Consultant for a financial services client. This is a hybrid role that involves working onsite in Malvern, PA - 3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Builds productive working relationships with key partners to ensure recommendations and priorities are understood by all impacted parties. Leverages influencing and negotiation skills to champion optimal solutions. Acts as an advocate for change to introduce new technologies and processes to shape the business strategy.
- Translates business problems into strategic and cost-effective technology solution alternatives. Leverages broad IT knowledge to research emerging technologies and apply to business problems. Creates blueprint capabilities for software, middleware and hardware deliverables. Ensures all deliverables comply with IT policies and procedures.
- Partners with business and IT leaders to align business initiatives, priorities, and schedules based on strategic business and IT plans.
- Influences the broad organization by leveraging knowledge of existing technology solutions and options, and the research that needs to be done to find new options.
- Owns and manages the capability landscape for one or more lines of business and its product owners as the business and the industry evolves. Develops deep knowledge of the business area(s) supported and the competitive landscape to provide context for decision-making.
- Maintains a comprehensive understanding of business functions. Combines technical and functional knowledge to produce highly functional solutions to business problems.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years experience
- One who has functional as well as technical (design) skill to help come up with a solution to a specific business problem.
- Must have experience in Trading and operations functions for an asset management organization.
- Trading and operations experience means working with transfer agents, managing cash flow (contributions/withdrawals) processes, Portfolio Accounting and Trade Processing
- Experience with Sales and Marketing Teams is a nice to have, but not required.
