Electrical Engineer
55-60/HR
Responsibilities:
- Evaluation of existing electrical systems, components, and applications through testing and implementation
- Design, build and test of electrical components and systems
- Design electrical diagrams, block diagrams, interface control documents
- Design conceptual wiring diagrams, and release detailed wiring diagrams
- Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) segregation routes as a function of the signal type
- Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) protection implementation
- Wires/cables selection to satisfy signal type, current, voltage, EMC, and EMI aircraft requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of a B.S. in Electrical Engineering
- 7 years of experience in design of electrical systems for aviation
- AS50881 (Wiring Aerospace Vehicle) ; AC 43.13-1B standards and practices.
- Experience with first article testing of newly designed components
- Experience creating/modifying code for testing/debugging new systems MATLAB and/or Python experience
- Experience with embedded systems design and testing experience
- Familiarity with RF principles
- Familiar with Harness Related Mil Specs
- AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar CAD drafting products experience
