Summary: Seeking an Experimental Parts Coordinator with a background in CAD and inventory management for manufacturing support at John Deere.
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
- Experience in inventory management
- Fluent and comfortable with computers
- Detail-oriented with attention to data analysis
Preferred Skills:
- Highly preferred reading of 2D drawings/prints
- Experience in a manufacturing setting
- Familiarity with CREO and AutoCAD
- Mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of sheet metal and other fabrication processes
- Experience with SAP and PowerBI
- Associate degree in Pre-Engineering, Manufacturing/Engineering Tech, Computer-Aided Drafting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Job Responsibilities:
- Create and edit manufacturing routings
- Draw and model simple parts for shop use occasionally
- Review manufactured part prints
- Check production inventory and forecast inventories
- Transfer stock between departments
- Communicate material transfers between departments
- Coordinate with supply management on purchased parts and stock availability
- Update daily and weekly reports using Excel and other MS Office tools
- Troubleshoot part requests from engineers
- Troubleshoot laser programs and manufacturing routings
Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
