Summary: Seeking a Plant Manager with extensive experience in manufacturing environment to oversee all plant operations ensuring production, maintenance, and quality standards.
Job Requirements:
5 years of plant/general management experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong leadership skills and experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts
Preferred Skills:
BS Degree
Experience in the metals and coil coating industry
Experience in steel, aluminum or heavy industrial production environment
Job Responsibilities:
Direct and manage plant operations for production, maintenance, quality and shipping/receiving
Coordinate activities through planning with operation managers to meet manufacturing objectives timely and cost-effectively
Supervise production personnel to ensure maximum production and quality levels
Achieve production plan within budgeted costs for fiscal year
Establish and monitor overall plant performance standards for production and quality
Control labor overtime, premium freight, and repair expenses
Maintain existing plant facilities/equipment; recommend replacements as needed
Provide leadership and training to meet company goals
Implement preventative maintenance programs
Enforce plant cleanliness and organization
Ensure proper safety orientation/training for employees; investigate accidents to eliminate causes
Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
