Quality Engineer - East Providence, RI
6 month contract
Pay Rate : $40 per hour
US Citizenship or Green Card required
Responsibilities :
- Provide Quality Engineering support for internal processes and external customers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and concerns.
- Perform data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Conduct root cause investigations and develop corrective actions to address findings.
- Review and approve Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) as needed.
- Facilitate or actively participate in Material Review Board (MRB) meetings.
- Engage as an active participant in the APQP process.
- Contribute to the creation and review of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), including DFMEA and PFMEA.
- Conduct internal audits as required.
- Aid in supplier selection and development initiatives.
- Support compliance efforts with the IATF 16949 standard.
- Assist with calibration processes and ensure compliance.
- Adhere to all international standards applicable to the company’s certifications and Quality Management System (QMS).
Follow company safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
