Description
ENTEK is seeking applications for a Site Safety Coordinator role to join us on-site at our Henderson, Nevada location (relocation within 40 miles of Henderson is required).
The Site Safety Coordinator is responsible for comprehensive safety program implementation in a 24 / 7 manufacturing environment. This role will manage OSHA requirements, compliance activities, and the workers' compensation process, including return-to-work programs. The coordinator will lead and provide training and develop work instructions to reduce or eliminate occupational injuries, illnesses, deaths, and financial losses. The coordinator will conduct safety audits and equipment inspections, monitor ENTEK and regulatory compliance, provide general administrative support to the HR and safety teams, participate in LEAN activities, and take on additional responsibilities as directed by management.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance, including on-site response after hours in case of emergency.
- Accurately complete all required documentation and regulatory reporting.
- Develop, implement, and deliver training programs and schedules for staff to meet both regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Create and maintain a culture reflective of a commitment to an illness and injury-free workplace.
- Scheduling recurring and incidental training, testing, and consultations from outside vendors with internal teams.
- Respond to and document all workplace injuries and incidents and assist in investigation(s).
- Maintain up-to-date and available Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Review SDSs and prepare accurate secondary container labels.
- Secure the availability and monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), such as eye protection, hearing protection, respirators, gloves, and safety footwear.
- Inspect work environments to ensure safety rules are being followed and safety equipment, such as fire suppression systems and portable fire extinguishers, eye wash stations, AEDs, and fall protection systems, is in proper working order.
- Maintain medical facility records and inventory of medical supplies or equipment and prepare them for use.
- Plan and lead emergency response drills.

Working Environment
The hours for this role are Monday - Friday, starting at 7 : 00 am.
This position will be working in a manufacturing environment and may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and chemicals in the plant environment. The noise level in the production facility is usually loud, and this employee will frequently be exposed to the production area. The employee is occasionally exposed to high and precarious places. This position is required to report on-site and be available for regular interaction with all shifts.
