Schedule: Nights (Shift 2: Sunday-Wednesday or Shift 4: Wednesday-Saturday)
Job Summary: ENTEK is seeking highly motivated candidates to join our Machine Shop’s night shift team in Henderson, Nevada as a CNC Machining Center Operator.
The CNC Machining Center Operator produces machined parts by setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. They verify settings by measuring positions, creating first-run parts, and sample workpieces during production machining. The Operator sets up tooling, fixturing and inspection equipment required for part types in production group, and performs maintenance duties.
Working Conditions and Environment: This role requires working 11.5-hour overnight shifts, spending the majority of the work shift on their feet. This role requires the incumbent to regularly lift/move up to 30 pounds, frequently lift/move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds. At times the individual in this role may be required to kneel, stoop, and/or crouch. The role may require the employee to work near moving mechanical parts, and may occasionally expose the employee to fumes and/or airborne particles. This role required the incumbent to wear eye and hearing protection.

Experience and Skills:Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Experience in the operation of drilling, boring and milling, turning, etc. tooling and procedures where tolerances are close, but not difficult to maintain.
- Ability to read and use G- & M-codes at the control.
- Ability to read and understand GD&T tolerancing.
- Strong time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
- Ability to self-manage behavior.
- Ability to multi-task effectively.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret supplied documentation and instructions.
- Ability to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new skills.
- Ability to simplify and recognize trends in complex information and data.
- Satisfactory results from a pre-employment drug screen and fit-for-duty screen.
- Ability to read blueprint specifications or equivalent.
Job Benefits:
Pay Range: $22.80-$34.80 per hour
