ENTEK is seeking applications for a Human Resources Generalist - Leave Administration role to join us on-site at our Lebanon, Oregon (relocation within 40 miles of Lebanon is required).
As a Human Resources Generalist at ENTEK, you will provide comprehensive HR support to a diverse group of leaders in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace. The primary focus of this role is leave administration. This includes managing all aspects of employee leave, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations, and serving as a key resource for employees and managers throughout the leave process.
Your responsibilities will include administering FMLA, OFLA, PLO, and other leaves, as well as tracking and communicating with managers and employees to ensure all legal requirements are adhered to with a high level of attention to detail. You will also administer Workers' Compensation and Return-to-Work processes, including submission, tracking, and communication to managers regarding employees with active claims, management of time-loss payments, creation of SAIF payroll reports, and annual audits, as well as assistance with bona fide job offers.

Requirements:Minimum Qualifications
- Three (3) years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
- Experience managing or working with employee leaves.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- A creative mindset and a knack for thinking outside the box to solve unique challenges.
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Satisfactory results from a pre-employment drug screen.
- Satisfactory results from a pre-employment background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Five (5) years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
- Five (5) or more years of experience with HRIS administration, maintenance, and optimization.
- HR experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Degree in Human Resources or a related field or four (4) additional years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
- SHRM or HRCI certification.
- Experience working in manufacturing or an equivalent environment.
Working Environment
The typical hours for this role are Monday through Friday, starting at 7:00 am.
The employee in this role is required to sit for extended periods of time, and is frequently required to stand and walk, as well as talk, hear, and complete tasks that require reaching and finger dexterity. This role may require the employee to occasionally move and handle objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
The role primarily works in an office environment but may occasionally need to visit the manufacturing floor, which will require wearing eye and hearing PPE and may expose the incumbent to fumes or airborne particles and chemicals in the plant environment.
