Job Title: Material Technician (Nuclear) Work Place Flexibility: Onsite Legal Entity: Entergy Operations, Inc.-EOI #LI- JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE: Performs materials functions related to receiving, stocking, and issuing inventory materials to support plant operations. Accurately provides inventory information for company-controlled material stock. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform initial inspection of material delivered from vendor. Perform quality receipt inspection for safety-related material in accordance with procedural requirements. Move, store and maintain material accuracy. Stage and issue material in a timely manner. Ensure all material is labeled in accordance with procedure requirements. Maintain forklift qualification to support mechanical movement of materials. Participates, supports and complies with all human performance, safety, and quality requirements. Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Minimum education and experience required of the position 3+ years in stores environment or related professional experience Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position Must be capable of repetitive lifting a minimum of 40lbs. Good warehouse skills (operating forklift/manual pallet jack, etc.). Basic computer skills for data entry into inventory management system.
