JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operates storeroom, issue/receive supplies, and stock materials in an efficient manner
- Maintain records necessary to properly record issue or receipt of all inventory
- Take inventories and direct work of other storeroom employees
- Operate equipment used in handling material
- Is available for overtime when needed
- Purchase materials and perform monthly credit card reconciliation
- Work directly with outage planner and/or planner/scheduler
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Experience:
- Material Operator I: at least 1 - 2 years of experience in a warehouse
- Material Operator II: at least 2 - 3 years of experience in a warehouse
- Material Operator Sr: at least 3 years of experience in a warehouse
- Preferred:
- Prior storeroom experience
- Logistics management experience in a warehouse
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of inventory management practices
- Knowledge and demonstrated ability to use computer applications and procedures
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of storeroom regulatory and accounting requirements
- Ability to effectively work with internal and external staff
Any Certificates, Licenses, Etc.:
- Forklift Operator Certification
- Current Driver's License
