Custodial Supervisor
EPSI, a Cleaning Industry leader for city, state, and federal customers, seeks an experienced Custodial Project Manager to oversee our cleaning and disinfection services in multiple facilities along austin toll roads. This critical position requires the highest level of reliability, commitment, expertise, and professionalism, as well as an ability to lead and manage a diverse workforce. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, prioritize, assign, supervise, review, and inspect the work of staff.
- Manage overall jobsite and contract performance, to include cleaning, disinfection, terminal cleans, and floor care.
- Manage assigned budgets (for example: labor, supply, materials, microfiber laundering and overhead).
- Adjust schedules and man hours to meet contract needs and workload surges.
- Conduct/Review Quality Control inspections and implement corrective action as necessary.
- Support shift supervisors in ensuring tasks are completed on time and to contract standards.
- Ensure company vehicles and equipment are properly used and maintained.
- Review monthly jobsite reports; evaluate performance against budget and other quality of service metrics.
- Regularly meet and communicate with government representatives and corporate personnel.
- Maintain a safe work environment with zero employee injuries.
- Continuously improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure employees understand and comply with the company’s Employee Handbook and all its Janitorial Services policy and procedure manuals.
- Advise and oversee resolutions and procedures for meeting contract standards and requirements.
- Review, prepare, and present accurate reports on operations, inspections and project activities.
- Implement and update contract performance goals and objectives.
- Establish work schedules and methods for cleaning and disinfection services to meet the inspection standards of authorized in-house and outside inspection agencies.
- Promptly respond to and resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
- Promptly address after-hour assignments, as required.
- Attend meetings as required.
- Assist fellow employees by helping with cleaning when shorthanded.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements
- Possessing a recognized cleaning industry management certification, such as the Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP), or the International Executive Housekeeper's Association's (IEHA) Certified/Registered Environmental Services Executive certification is a plus; if you don't have one, we can help you earn one for free to help advance your career.
- Excellent communication skills, job knowledge, training experience, and customer service experience are required.
- Experience managing a diverse staff, to include employees with disabilities, is a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters.
- Ability to work independently and recommend solutions to hospital environmental service problems.
- Competent with Microsoft Word, Outlook email, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Superior attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while attending to multiple tasks and demands at multiple facilities.
- Management and leadership skills required.
Working Conditions:
- Works in office areas and supports cleaning operations when needed.
- Sits, stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during working hours.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 pounds.
