Job Description:
- Monday- Friday
- 8 hour shifts
- Bachelor’s degree in Science
- Current NYS license as Clinical Laboratory Technologist (CLT), Medical Technologist (MT) or Histotechnologist (HTL).
- 1 years grossing experience preferred.
- Responsible for the accurate gross description, dissection and processing of all biopsies, routine and moderate complexity tissue specimens according to established protocols under the direct supervision of the Pathologist and/or Pathology Supervisor.
- Participates in limited technical activities of the Pathology department when needed, such as accessioning, staining, cover slipping, routine maintenance and cytology specimen preparation.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $2,300.00 - $2,688.00 per week
