Our Project Accountants are responsible for organizing and processing all on-going daily accounting activities such as client billings, accounts payable, and job costing as related to assigned projects. They also play a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency, streamlining workflows, and implementing automation solutions within our organization. This role requires a blend of accounting skills, analytical skills, and technology expertise to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Accounting Duties
- Prepare and process customer billings (Cost-plus, Fixed fee, etc.) on a schedule of values in accordance with contract requirements and Company policy.
- Analyze project expenditures, matching invoice against PO and receiver and verifying quantity, price, taxes, shipping cost authorization.
- Work with vendors to obtain lien releases to expedite customer payments.
- Work with Operations to enhance the flow of information to the Accounting team.
- Maintain accurate project financial documentation and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
