Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized Bookkeeper, who will be responsible for maintaining financial records across multiple entities within our Entertainment Group. This role includes handling accounts payable and receivable, project accounting, inter company chargebacks, reconciling transactions, insurance coverages, sales taxes, assisting with tax return preparation, ensuring overall financial integrity and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks across multiple companies and projects.
- Record and reconcile bank and credit card transactions.
- Process accounts payable and receivable..
- Handle intercompany chargebacks and collections.
- Generate financial reports and cash flow reports.
- Oversee all insurance policies, coverages and anniversaries.
- Process business licenses, permits and anniversaries.
- Prepare and file sales tax returns.
- Support month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Assist with tax preparation and filings.
- Collaborate with finance, production, and executive teams.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, preferably within the entertainment or media industry.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Google Workspace, Google Sheets, Etc.
- Familiarity with multi-entity accounting and project-based tracking.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information.
- Understanding of entertainment finance is a plus.
- Currently resides in the Nashville Tennessee area.
