What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Counsel, Renewable Energy Transactions position at Entrusted Advisors?
Entrusted Advisors is actively seeking experienced attorneys to support large-scale renewable energy projects with our clients in the Bay Area. Ideal candidates will have a background in EPC along with extensive experience working in-house to support development projects. These roles offer the opportunity to work on a broad range of commercial agreements, regulatory matters, and project development activities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide legal support on EPC contracts, major procurement agreements (goods & services), and power purchase agreements (PPAs).
- Advise on M&A, corporate reorganizations, due diligence for debt arrangements, and independent engineering reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on land use agreements, conditional-use and ministerial permitting, labor agreements, tax incentives (IRA / PW&A requirements), and public relations matters.
- Assist with contract administration, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and project requirements.
