Reporting to the Deputy Executive Chairman, specific responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement an agenda for HR strategy in line with the business plan. Ensure HR plans support the needs of the business and are flexible to cope with changes in the organization.
- Oversight of the global human resources function.
- Ensure through resource planning and recruitment and selection strategies that the organization is appropriately resourced.
- Create and administer compensation and benefits programs that are competitive, fair and aligned with industry standards.
- Ensure payroll is completed accurately and to deadline.
- Develop and deliver a high quality and innovative employee learning and development program which provides the employee skills and competencies to drive forward business growth and performance.
- Deliver a robust and fit for purpose performance framework including the development, coaching and mentoring of others to improve performance standards.
- Manage organizational change, restructure and consultation.
- Provide quality human resources advice and guidance to managers and employees.
- Implement appropriate performance and grievance measures to effectively resolve employee relations issues.
- Ensure HR regulatory compliance and demonstrate leadership on employee relations and employment law matters.
- Identify best employment practice and develop and implement robust HR policies, systems and procedures.
- Use the organization’s human resource information system and talent management system to produce information, reports and analysis on people related data.
- Input into new business development work and tenders.
Skills and Experience for Success
The role will be very well suited to an individual who is able to demonstrate the following:
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree level qualification in Human Resources Management or related experience.
- SPHR or GPHR certification is a plus.Typically, 10 years’ experience in global human resources preferably gained in the Energy Services industry.
- Extensive experience of partnering with third party payroll, benefits and other providers to deliver an effective human resource service to a global workforce.
- Experience with US and international payroll.
- Strong knowledge of US and global employment legislation and regulations.

- Knowledge of government regulations for employment law, employee benefits and payroll.
