Job Summary:
PMC’s Senior Overlay Services Specialists are critical in supporting and growing Overlay Services. They will interact directly with external advisors, Overlay Services Specialist, as well as our Overlay Services Portfolio Administration Specialists and others within the Envestnet organization.
They will be responsible for education of Overlay Services to internal and external clients. They will team up with members of the sales team to provide subject matter expertise. They will also assist in answering questions about existing and new accounts and help the ENV sales team close complicated situations. They will also be available to educate, support and consult with home offices and their advisors.
Job Responsibilities:
- Subject matter experts for Overlay Services.
- Subject matter experts for analysis and presentation of Proposed Asset Transition Analysis
- Product Knowledge- should be able to have an in depth conversation about the value of Overlay Services, this would include but no limited to Tax Overlay, Values Overlay and FSP Tax management.
- This role requires the ability to understand the ENV ecosystem, as well as the proposal system. This includes both the technical aspects as well as the ability to relate the technical into ways both advisors and clients can understand.
- Developing deep relationships with the firm's wealth management teams will be needed to grow and support the business.
- The ability to present Overlay in front of both small and large audiences
- Problem solving is critical as many advisors bring complex and detailed situations which needs to be analyzed and discussed to present a result which can meet the client's, the advisor's, the firm's and ENV's needs.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Communicate the value proposition of Overlay Services.
- Collaborate within the Envestnet organization for opportunities for Overlay Services.
- Support advisors who are bringing in new Overlay Services accounts. This could include analyzing new accounts that are choosing various Values screens, or working with advisors to analyze the tax consequences of a client’s existing portfolio under various tax budget scenarios. Utilizing
- PMC’s Portfolio Asset Transition Summary (PATS).
- Coordinate account level problem resolution prior to accounts reaching the Overlay Services Portfolio Administration Specialist team.
- Assist advisors by answering questions and providing updated information regarding existing accounts with Overlay Services.
- Support the growth efforts of Overlay Services by working with internal partners.
- Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested.
- As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field of study.
- Minimum of 5 year of experience in the investment management or investment consulting industry.
- Knowledge of the Financial Services Industry.
- Understanding of investment products including Separately Managed Accounts, Mutual Funds and ETFs.
- Effective and concise communicator, both verbal and written.
- Understanding of tax implication of investments.
- Understanding of Values Investing.
- Thoughtful decision maker with the ability to implement solutions based on a thorough knowledge of the client situation.
- Commitment to provide positive client experience and reinforce the firm’s image as a sophisticated investment solutions provider.
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
- Possess ability to prioritize and maintain multiple client request.
