Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate daily shipping operations, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor the shipping team to maintain high standards of performance, quality, and safety
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, cGMP, and FDA regulations throughout all shipping processes
- Review shipping freight schedules, routes, and methods to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Manage shipping documentation and collaborate with vendors and carriers to resolve any shipping issues
- Conduct regular training sessions for shipping staff on best practices and safety procedures
- Monitor inventory levels of shipping materials and coordinate reordering as needed
- Assist in the development and implementation of shipping policies and procedures for continuous improvement
- Work collaboratively with the Customer Service team to address customer inquiries and concerns regarding shipping
- Perform other duties as assigned to support company operations
- High School diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics or related field is a plus
- 3 years of experience in shipping and logistics, with at least 1 year in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of shipping regulations, including international shipping protocols
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Proficient in major shipping software and ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a plus)
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members, vendors, and customers
- Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
